- The Berlin-based DJ will bring a stack of leftfield selections to the London spot on August 20th.
Avalon Emerson will headline an RA Live event at Brilliant Corners in London on Sunday, August 20th.
The Brilliant Corners events give DJs a chance to play records in a relaxed setting, often dipping into parts of their collection not heard in clubs. So far the series has seen both well-known artists (DJ Deep, JD Twitch, Josey Rebelle, Jeremy Underground) and promising London DJs (Customs, anu, Debora Ipekel) playing everything from modern soul and rare groove to jazz and Turkish disco.
The August 20th event, which runs from 8 PM until 11 PM BST, is free and open to the public—it'll also be broadcast live via via Resident Advisor. Emerson will be joined on the night by Watson, one half of FYI Chris, a DJ and producer who works behind the counter at South London record shop Rye Wax.
The following month's event is happening on Sunday, September 10th, with Antinote founder Zaltan joined by Brilliant Corners' own Donna Leake.
