- Steven Julien will drop a couple of 12-inches from rising Los Angeles producers next month.
Dreams and AshTreJinkins will release the first EPs in a new Los Angeles-focused series on FunkinEven's Apron Records.
Steven Julien rustled up some fresh talent for his label during his trips to Los Angeles to DJ at underground events. First up in the new LA Series is Dreams, cofounder of the Southland imprint and party series Private Selection. His Apron debut, Not Phazed, follows last year's Off The Grid EP for Nous.
Apron will also release a 12-inch by AshTreJinkins, a Compton-based producer who cut his teeth in LA's beat scene but has veered towards house and techno on his recent releases for London-based label NCA. His five-track Apron debut is called Fruit In Failure.
