- Bas Mooy's label has just put out a new 30-track, seven-disc collection.
Rotterdam techno label Mord today released a new compilation, Herdersmat Part 9 - 15.
The compilation follows late 2015's Herdersmat Part 1 - 7 (and Part 8, issued on its own last year), and presents 30 new tracks from a wide-ranging pool of producers. Kangding Ray, Perc and Pfirter are among those making their Mord debut, along with Anastasia Kristensen, J. Tijn, Wrong Assessment and Kamikaze Space Programme. Label boss Bas Mooy contributes a cut once again, and other Mord affiliates back on board include Sleeparchive, UVB, Exium, Paul Birken and Damcase.
Herdersmat Part 9 - 15's full release on wax—as another seven-disc box set—is expected in September, but limited copies are available today along with the digital version.
Mord is closing in on 50 total releases after just four years in operation. The label's 2017 output has included records from UVB and Datasmok, and another one, from Under Black Helmet, is due out next week.
