  • Strictly Rhythm has licensed its back catalogue to Avid—the brand behind Pro Tools—for a suite of loops and a capellas. Billboard reports that the foundational house label partnered with BMG to create the package, which is called Strictly Rhythm Reducer Loops and operates with Avid's Pro Tools audio production software. It features vocals, stems and 242 loops from artists like Dennis Ferrer, Wamdue Project, Reel 2 Real, Armand Van Helden, Erick Morillo and Barbara Tucker. The package will cost $59.99. BMG acquired the rights to the Strictly Rhythm catalogue in 2013. The label had returned to independence in 2010 after partnering with Defected Records following an ill-fated partnership with Warner Music. Watch a promo video for Strictly Rhythm Reducer Loops.
