- The first wave of names for the October festival includes Sven Väth, Sonja Moonear and Jeff Mills.
Movement Torino is expanding in 2017, hosting two days at Lingotto Fiere.
The cavernous venue has traditionally hosted the closing party for the Detroit spin-off, which falls on Halloween. This year there will be two main shows, on the 28th and 31st. An initial clutch of artists has been announced, with slots for the likes of Jeff Mills, Sven Väth, Nastia, RPR Soundsystem, Sonja Moonear, Mike Huckaby, Apollonia, Octave One, Patrick Topping, Nastia, Nicole Moudaber, Luciano, Cobblestone Jazz and Ben Sims, who will play back-to-back with DVS1. The daily schedule is still TBA.
In addition to the Lingotto sessions, Movement will host a run of smaller events, including lectures and workshops, at various venues around Turin.
