  • Leyland Kirby, AKA V/VM, is next on Boomkat Editions' single-sided 12-inch series. New Beat: Brabant Schrobbelèr is a 20-minute track that's drawn from music he originally produced in 2006 in the style of Belgian New Beat. The work was selected and sequenced by Jerk van den Boschalott and then edited by Miles from Demdike Stare. The EP follows other single-sided 12-inches on Boomkat Editions from the likes of Raime, Beatrice Dillon and Kara-Lis Coverdale. Kirby is best known as The Caretaker, an ambient-oriented project currently in the midst of a six-album series leading to the end of the alias. V/VM is his longest-running project, with records spanning noise, experimental and other genres.
Tracklist 01. Brabant Schrobbelèr Boomkat Editions will release New Beat: Brabant Schrobbelèr on July 14th, 2017.
