  • DeepChord and Fluxion are teaming up for a new project called Transformations. The idea came out of improvisational jam sessions between the two artists. There's no exact date for when the new live set will debut though they promise it will be "soon." Both artists are renowned dub techno producers. Fluxion, AKA Konstantinos Soublis, is known for his work on Basic Channel sub-label Chain Reaction (and other platforms like Echocord and Subwax BCN), while DeepChord, AKA Rod Modell, runs the echospace [detroit] label and works with Stephen Hitchell as DeepChord Presents Echospace. The two artists mention some of their classic records, like Fluxion's Vibrant Forms I & II, and DeepChord Presents Echospace's The Coldest Season, as "points of reference" for this new project. Listen to a ten-minute excerpt from Transformations.
