- The plans are part of the global brand's 20th anniversary celebrations.
The team behind Creamfields UK has revealed plans to reconstruct the main room from former Liverpool club Nation at this year's festival.
The global dance music brand celebrates two anniversaries in 2017: 20 years of Creamfields and 25 years of Cream at Nation, the now-defunct club where it all began in 1992. The main room will be rebuilt using floor-plans and architectural photographs, and will feature original parts from the venue. The arena, titled Nation, will only be open on the Saturday of the four-day festival, which runs from August 24th through 27th in Daresbury. The lineup is still TBA.
Creamfields confirmed the rest of this year's bill earlier in 2017. As ever, it's heavy on globetrotting house, techno, trance and EDM acts, with slots for Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Seth Troxler, Eric Prydz, Diplo, Sven Väth, The Martinez Brothers, Laidback Luke, Adam Beyer and Richie Hawtin, who will present his new live show, CLOSE, for the first time in the UK.
