- A new Scandinavian Swords compilation and an LP from Bandhagens Musikförening are also due out soon.
A new batch of Northern Electronics releases is on the way.
The Stockholm-based techno and experimental outpost has announced three new releases for July, with one of the label bosses, Anthony Linell—also known as Abdulla Rashim—leading the charge. After putting out the Consolidate cassette last month, Emerald Fluorescents, which comes on marbled wax, will be the first vinyl transmission credited to his given name.
Also coming up is an LP from Bandhagens Musikförening, AKA Michel Isorinne and Martin Sander (Hypnobirds). We're told Protokoll A, the duo's debut record, "tangles mournful, surreal profiles with euphoric, sunset electro." Meanwhile, Northern Electronics will return to the cassette format for its third Scandinavian Swords compilation, which features new Bandhagens Musikförening and Isorinne material along with tracks from both Linell and fellow label head Varg.
Each release will come on digital formats as usual.
