Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland just re-released a weighty odds-and-ends compilation called The Attitude Era.
The status and makeup of Hype Williams, which brought Blunt (AKA Babyfather) and Copeland to the public consciousness, remains unclear. The group released an album called 10 / 10 last year, but both artists claimed no involvement in its creation, and more material surfaced back in January, including the guccistreams 2 EP—with no details as to who's using the name.
Information on The Attitude Era is also somewhat scant—it was originally released in 2012 as an exclusive, low-bitrate download during a limited two-week period in partnership with The Guardian. Now it's available in higher-quality formats. It's described as being culled from the sessions leading to Hype Williams' One Nation and Blunt's The Narcissist albums, and was originally released with the following statement:desktop....tunes
