  • Paradigm, in Groningen, will move to new premises after closing down this month. The Helsinkistraat club, which has put on house and techno nights since 2011, will move from its current location—a warehouse once used as a grain elevator—to Zeefgebouw, an industrial complex on Energieweg. Paul Grimmius, the club's co-owner, speaking to Thump, said the move was made in part to lower Paradigm's operating costs. Piter Terpstra, another co-owner, said there would be fewer parties at the new location, which would host "one or two" nights a month. It is not yet clear when the new venue will open. (Resident Advisor has contacted the club for clarification.) The next edition of Paradigm Festival, which the duo also run, will take place at Zeefgebouw in August. The club has programmed five consecutive parties for its final week. The first party takes place on Wednesday, June 7th, and the last one takes place Sunday, June 11th. Rhadoo, Robag Wruhme, Âme, Mano Le Tough, Guy J, Johannes Heil and Ion Ludwig are among the acts scheduled to perform over this period.
