Silent Season is marking its tenth birthday with a series of EPs.
Tucked away in a remote corner of Vancouver Island near the town of Courtenay, the label has been releasing dub techno and ambient since 2007. To celebrate ten years of operation, Silent Season has prepared a series of ten special EPs, with five out now and five more coming in the fall.
Earthen Sea, Brendon Moeller, Mosam Howieson, BLNDR and Odes Of The Kabatians have contributed records to the series, which the label says seeks to showcase "elemental textures found in the natural surroundings of Vancouver Island."
