Wighnomy Brothers announce first festival shows since 2009

- After breaking their years-long hiatus in December, the DJ duo of Robag Wruhme and Monkey Maffia will perform at Awakenings, Nachtdigital and more this summer.
- Robag Wruhme and Monkey Maffia, AKA Wighnomy Brothers, will play their first festival shows since 2009 this summer. German DJs Gabor Schablitzki (Robag Wruhme) and Sören Bodner (Monkey Maffia) shared the decks for years under the name Wighnomy Brothers before parting ways at the end of 2009. In December of 2016, they played together for the first time since the split, joining Answer Code Request and more at Leipzig club Distillery. Now, they're set to reunite for a string of festival gigs, with slots at five events announced via Facebook earlier this week. First up is a trip to the Netherlands in late June for Awakenings. Four more bookings in Germany follow over the next two months: Click Clack in Dresden, Deep With You in the duo's hometown of Jena, Nachtdigital in Olganitz (that festival turns 20 this year) and SonneMondSterne at the Saalburg fort near Bad Homburg.
