  • Benjamin Brunn just released a 17-track album on his new imprint, Chrome Plated Diamonds. Brunn says the new record was recorded over the course of 2016 and consists of "repetitive, gentle pieces." The hour-long set was written solely on the Korg Poly-800 II, and he refers to Pieces From A Small Corner Of Paradise as a "declaration of love" to the mid-80s synthesizer. Brunn, who has collaborated with David Moufang (AKA Move D) regularly over the course of his career, says Chrome Plated Diamonds will serve as a platform for his own ambient and experimental music. It follows a 2016 album for Third Ear Recordings as well as an ambient full-length distributed for free online via Tissue Magazine. Listen to the LP in full at the Chrome Plated Diamonds Bandcamp page.
