  • Rush Hour has revealed plans to head on a 20th anniversary world tour, starting next month. The label, shop and distribution hub, set up in Amsterdam in 1997, has garnered a global following in recent years, thanks in part to the success of affiliated DJs like Antal (Rush Hour's cofounder) and Hunee. Both artists are down for the tour's opening at Rainbow Disco Club festival in Japan, where they'll be joined by Sadar Bahar and San Proper. San Proper and Antal will then join Soichi Terada on Sunday, May 7th for an all-day slot at Kobe spot Troopcafe. Only four more dates have been announced so far, all of them in Europe. In June, the crew heads to Robert Johnson on the 3rd, followed by Dutch festival Strange Sounds From Beyond on the 25th, when Antal will join Daphni, DJ Okapi, Interstellar Funk and Wally Badarou at the Rush Hour stage. Rush Hour will also host stages at Paris's Macki Music Festival on July 1st and at Dimensions in Croatia, which goes down from August 30th through September 3rd. More tour dates will be announced later in 2017. Read Aaron Coultate's Art Of DJing interview with Antal.
