Public Possession has announced its plans for 2017.
The quirky, well-loved Munich label and shop is run by Marvin and Valentino, two-thirds of Tambien. This round of releases starts out with a raunchy 12-inch from GlamouRatz, billed as an "Australian supergroup." The Rat House EP includes a mix of the track "Pussy Doctor" by András. After that comes a various artists 12-inch featuring Tambien, Obalski and Mr. Tophat, who will also release a standalone EP called A Memoir From The Youth Pt. II, the follow-up to his 2016 release for Public Possession.
The imprint will also put out a record of field recordings accompanying an art book from the German conceptualist Olaf Nicolai, In The Woods There Is A Bird… This flurry wraps up with a second Public Possession record from Colombian producer Sano, Latino Body Music Vol. 2.
