- The foundational industrial group is partnering with Mute Records.
Throbbing Gristle's music is now streaming for the first time ever.
The announcement is part of a renewed partnership with Mute Records, who will also launch an extensive reissue campaign stretching over the next three years. That will include many of the legendary industrial band's classic releases, as well as more obscure rarities and box sets with previously unreleased music and imagery.
Chris Carter, who performed in Throbbing Gristle alongside Cosey Fanni Tutti, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and the late Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson, is also set to release a new solo album in the fall of this year—his first solo work in 18 years. Cosey Fanni Tutti's autobiography, Art Sex Music, will be published by Faber in April.
