  • RA will host a stage at Movement Detroit this year. RA has been throwing official parties as part of the Movement week in Detroit since 2014, but this year marks the first time we'll have an official stage at the festival proper, and the first time we've ever taken a stage at a major US festival. We'll be at Hart Plaza's Underground Stage for all three nights, programming a lineup of hard-edged techno that includes Function, DVS1, Ryan Elliott and a back-to-back set from Ben Sims and Truncate. For local talent, we've got Altstadt Echo, Anthony Jimenez and Project 313, and other international highlights include Matrixxman, Rebekah, Orphx, STERAC, Rrose, Headless Horseman and AX&P, the collaborative project from Adam X and Perc. Movement has also announced the schedule for the rest of the stages, which include headlining Main Stage sets from Carl Cox, deadmau5's techno alias Testpilot and Richie Hawtin, performing his new CLOSE audiovisual set. Carl Craig will appear with the Versus Synthesizer Ensemble on the Main Stage and bring his Detroit Love showcase to the Stargate Stage on Friday, while Detroit techno founding fathers The Belleville Three will also take to the Main Stage. For the full stage-by-stage breakdown, check out the event listing. Watch a teaser video.
