Logan Sama is starting up his Earth 616 label again.
The imprint was founded by the then-Kiss 100 DJ to showcase instrumental grime, but has remained dormant since 2013 after releases from the likes of Wiley, Preditah and J Sweet. Now Earth 616 is returning with the first instrumental grime EP from Maniac in several years. The UK producer, who came up producing for Wiley, Tinchy Stryder and JME, among others, was jailed in 2009, which put his career on hold until 2015. Following that year's 100 Problems EP, which came out through Rinse and featured Maxsta and Boothroyd, Homecoming is a solo EP comprising four tracks.
