  • John Daly has announced plans for March Session, a three-part EP series coming through his Feel Music label. March Session draws from a three-week recording spree in March 2013, during which time the Irish artist made a total of 58 tracks. Five of those were released on an EP for Running Back in 2015, and now 18 others are set to be issued across a trio of 12-inches, beginning in late May. "I wanted to make the rawest, most spontaneous techno I could. Of course it still turned out kinda house," Daly says, describing the intensive sessions. "I didn't even stop to see if [the tracks] were good or not. Worry about that later, just keep them coming. Stay in the zone at all costs. Number 58 didn't even get finished. I had to walk away for my sanity. After enough time I went back to listen and it turned out quite a lot of them were damn good." There's no audio available yet to preview the upcoming EPs. For now, listen to one of the cuts put out on Running Back in 2015.
