Nuits Sonores has added a new round of names to the lineup of its 15th edition.
The Lyon festival, taking place from Wednesday, May 24th through Sunday, May 28th, has lined up DJ slots for The Chemical Brothers, Helena Hauff, Talaboman, FunkinEven, Errorsmith, Mind Against, Beautiful Swimmers, Sonja Moonear and festival organiser P.Moore, among others. French DJs Francois X and Bambounou—the latter was the subject of an RA ORIGINS feature in 2015—will play back-to-back.
Einstürzende Neubauten, Harvey Sutherland, Fatima Yamaha, Omar Souleyman, Soichi Terada, Marie Davidson, Vitalic, Aurora Halal and Moscoman will play live. KiNK, voted number one in our readers' poll of live acts last year, will also feature.
Last month, Nuits Sonores announced The Black Madonna, Nina Kraviz and Jon Hopkins would curate its daytime programming. Previously announced headliners include Mark Ernestus' Ndagga Rhythm Force, ESG, Peggy Gou, Optimo, Bjarki, Andy Stott, Levon Vincent, Daniel Avery, Barker & Baumecker, Ben Frost, Actress and Anthony Naples. This year's Carte Blanche stage will showcase Lisbon's music scene, with DJ Marfox, Niagara, Jibóa and Bispo among those confirmed.
