- The Swedish duo's fifth album comes out through Northern Electronics on Valentine's Day.
Northern Electronics is releasing a new LP from Ulwhednar, AKA Abdulla Rashim and Varg.
The name Ulwhednar first appeared with 2013's LP. Since then the two producers have released four more albums of drone, ambient music and techno, two of them on cassette. Modern Silver is the latest Ulwhednar release to hit wax, and it'll land on February 14th, with the digital version following in March. The record comprises eight tracks recorded between 2013 and 2015. The title track and "1000 Pills" feature vocals from Lust For Youth's Loke Rahbek.
The last few months have been busy for Varg, real name Jonas Rönnberg. He just announced the release of his latest solo LP, the next instalment in his ongoing Nordic Flora series, following a double cassette album and a 12-inch. He also contributed an all-originals RA podcast a few weeks ago.
