Chino Amobi's first vinyl release, minor matter, is on the way.
The US experimental artist is one of the co-founders of NON, a label collective whose work explores issues of race and politics around the African diaspora. His vinyl debut is a soundtrack for the minor matter performance piece from choreographer Ligia Lewis, which is described as presenting "a sensitive argument for minoritarian politics." With artwork from Martha Glenn, it'll see release this month on The Vinyl Factory, as part of a series of limited-edition 12-inches that label is issuing in collaboration with Berlin's CTM Festival.
