Tessela and Truss team up for new Overmono EP, Arla II

- UK techno producers Tessela and Truss have a new Overmono EP on the way. Brothers Ed and Tom Russell first surfaced as Overmono last July with the Arla 12-inch for XL Recordings, and have since taken the project on the road for live and DJ sets together. The collaborative project, which is described as exploring "the spaces between ambient, techno & UK hardcore dynamics," will return to XL in March with Arla II. James Ruskin offered a bit of help on the six-track EP, mixing "Powder Dry," which you can stream below. Overmono have also lined up some more gigs around Europe for the coming months, with Milan's Dude Club up next on Friday. Looking ahead to summer, they've got festival bookings locked in for Field Day, Dekmantel and Sónar in Barcelona, where they'll play the RA-curated SonarLab stage on Saturday night alongside Marcel Dettmann, Daphni and more.
