  • Varg is releasing a new album, Nordic Flora Series Pt. 3: Gore-Tex City, through Northern Electronics, the label he runs alongside Abdulla Rashim. Swedish producer Varg, real name Jonas Rönnberg, kicked off his Nordic Flora Series in December with Heroine, an RA-recommended EP for Northern Electronics. He quickly followed that up with the three-cassette box set En Ros Röd Som Blod, which came out on Copenhagen label Posh Isolation. This year, we're told, the like-minded imprints (who've collaborated in the past) will release more works from the series in "voluminous formats both conventional and novel." Its third transmission, Gore-Tex City, comes out in March on double-vinyl and digital formats. The 13-track album includes six collaborations which feature a wide range of artists, such as Drew McDowall, Alessandro Cortini, Matti Bye, Yung Lean and AnnaMelina. Watch a video for the album's first track, "Champagne Ceremonies," directed by Paps Loco for Nowness.
