Art Alfie's debut album, Reveries Of will be released on Studio Barnhus on March 3rd.
The Stockholm house producer—real name Oscar Wedren—emerged in 2012 with the first of many 12-inches with fellow Swede Mr. Tophat, also founding their Karlovak label. Since then he's only released a handful of tracks and remixes without his studio partner, and Reveries Of marks his first full solo release of any kind, as well as his first appearance on Studio Barnhus. The label says Wedren worked with "impromptu field recordings and an emotionally-guided sampling processes" for the nine-track LP, "freeing himself of all conceptual footholds, delving instead deep into his archives of old and new memories and feels." The album will be released on double-vinyl and CD as well as digitally.
