- The Italian experimentalist is back on Mike Paradinas' label next month.
Herva will release his next album for Planet Mu, Hyper Flux, in February.
The Italian producer made his Planet Mu debut in 2015 with Kila, a broad-minded record that touched on IDM, hip-hop and acid. He also released an album from Life's Track, his duo alongside Marco D'Aquino, which landed on Bosconi Extra Virgin, a label's he's been with since 2011.
Herva will return to Planet Mu next month with Hyper Flux, which incorporates much of his own live instrumentation. "I challenged myself to play real instruments," he explains. "I'm not a pro but I'm able to play drums quite well, and I'm not that bad on guitars and bass too, but the weirdo instruments are the best—you are even more free to reinvent how to play them since no one else knows how to."
