- The 12-inch, out in January, is the next record on Swiss label MDRNTY.
Ricardo Villalobos's first release of 2017 comes under an old name: Richard Wolfsdorf.
The Berlin-based artist adopted the Wolfsdorf name as far back as 1996, on his early record "MDMA". He's used it two times since, once in 2000 and once in 2005. After a year that saw Villalobos release EPs for Pressure Traxx and Raum...musik, work with Oren Ambarchi and Umho as well as remix the likes of Prins Thomas and D.F.X., he'll return to the project. This two-track Richard Wolfsdorf release is the second 12-inch on MDRNTY, a label founded by the Swiss promoter of the same name. (Its first EP, from Ryan Crosson, came out earlier this year.)
