Marc Houle has shared details of a new album, Sinister Mind, which is the first in a three-part series.
The Canadian techno producer was a key member of the Minus label family, which he left in 2011 to start Items & Things with Magda and Troy Pierce. Most recently he signed an EP to Innervisions in July. Next, he'll release a series of three full-length albums via Items & Things, the first of which, Sinister Mind, is due out in March. "This first LP reflects the darker tendencies and tones of his sound," says the label. "As always the tech maestro and gear addict uses a wide range of hardware, from the MKS-70, to the Juno-60, Monopoly, 808 drum machine, 606 drums and an Eventide H8000 for the reverb."
