  • Mondkopf's next album, They Fall But You Don't, will see release through In Paradisum in February. It'll be the fifth full-length from Mondkopf, an alias Paul Régimbeau has used to put out a range of atmospheric productions, and the first since Hadés from 2014. The French artist had put Mondkopf aside and was focused on other projects and collaborations, but "everything changed" after the November 2015 Paris terrorist attacks. The night of the attacks, Régimbeau began what would become a series of improvised sessions with his machines, a shift from a previous, more considered production approach that involved months of preparation. They Fall But You Don't was made from these recordings. Described as "a compilation of moments of escaping reality through making music in a chaotic and dark year," the album also features contributions from Frédéric D. Oberland, who has worked with Régimbeau in the drone group Foudre!. Tracklist A1 Vivere, Parte I A2 Vivere, Parte II A3 Vivere, Parte III B1 Vivere, Parte VI B2 Vivere, Parte V B3 Vivere, Finale In Paradisum will release They Fall But You Don't on February 27th, 2017.
