Rekids will release a remix EP from Monty Luke alias Mandingo in January.
The new release focuses on one of the tracks the Detroit-based producer put out via Matt Edwards' Rekids imprint last year, "Universe II." Universe II (Remixes) marks the second time Luke has been remixed by house legend Larry Heard, following a 2013 12-inch featuring two Mr. Fingers versions of Luke's "Lonely Is The Night" track. Techno veteran Thomas Melchior also hands in a take on "Universe II" for the new EP under his Melchior Productions Ltd name.
