Ron Trent and Jerome Derradji to DJ at Artform event in Chicago

- The combined panel discussion, photo exhibit and loft party will happen at Elastic Arts in December.
- Ron Trent and Jerome Derradji, the mind behind Still Music, will take part in an "interactive visual and musical event" in Chicago called Artform on Saturday, December 10th. Artform, happening at the nonprofit organization Elastic Arts' space in Logan Square, will have Robert Williams, known for opening the legendary Chicago clubs Warehouse and Muzik Box, as its host. It's set to run from 9 PM to 5 AM, and it'll start with a panel discussion focused on nightlife history. Andy Capp will moderate, with Williams, Trent, Derradji, Mike Macherello, Duane Thamm Jr and Tiphanie Spencer serving as panelists. Spencer will also present an exhibit of her photography documenting New York's nightlife in the '90s. Afterward, Trent and Derradji are due to DJ. Organizing the night are Elastic Arts, The Arts Palette (of which Spencer is the director), Still Music and Trent's imprint Music And Power, with help from the Chicago Reader and Cream Wine Company, who'll provide complimentary wine during the panel and photo exhibit reception.
