HTID: Heaven-sent Tekno Impakting Dancefloors, or Hardcore Till I Die is due out in late December.
Scottish techno duo Clouds are linking up again with Speedy J's Electric Deluxe label to put out a double EP in late December called HTID: Heaven-sent Tekno Impakting Dancefloors, or Hardcore Till I Die.
HTID will be the third Electric Deluxe release of 2016 for Clouds, AKA Calum Macleod and Liam Robertson, after the Timeslip Roadmender and An Outrageous Fate Type EPs. We can expect more variants of the roughed-up, relentless sound the pair are known for with this eight-track set, their most expansive effort since 2013's Turbo-issued Ghost Systems Rave LP.
The double EP will only be available through Electric Deluxe's online store, on limited vinyl and on digital formats. It lands on Friday, December 30th, and that night, Electric Deluxe will host a party at Amsterdam's NDSM Scheepsbouwloods. Speedy J, Clouds and fellow label affiliate Dax J will appear. A handful of other international techno favorites are confirmed in Rødhåd, Shifted, Ø [Phase] and Vril (playing live), with Dutch artists Jeff Rushin and Noodlebar Soundsystem completing the lineup.
Electric Deluxe has also revealed details for an EP from Dax J. Repression, due out in February, will be the London-born, Berlin-based producer's second 12-inch for the label, after Illusions Of Power from two months ago.
