  • RS94109 will reopen on Saturday, December 3rd. Originally founded in 2013, the dance music record shop developed a reputation for its uncanny ability to source collections heavy on Chicago, Detroit and New York records. After in-store DJ sets from the likes of Ben UFO, they closed for renovations, ran out of money and launched a Kickstarter to finish up the process. Following a successful campaign, they're ready to reopen with a full coffee bar, new fixtures and a DJ booth. They'll make good use of the booth on Saturday evening, with L.I.E.S. artist Ngly and San Francisco mainstays Solar and Mozhgan stopping by for DJ sets before their show with Traxx at Monarch later in the evening. Former RS94109 employee Vereker, Ossin and Josh Woods round out the in-store lineup. The owners also promise free Afghan food to those who arrive early. RS94109 will open at 8 AM, with the DJ sets beginning at 6 PM. Watch Solar's set from this year's Dekmantel festival.
Tickets to the Monarch show are available here on RA.
