  • The two-day REC festival will be held in central Rotterdam this weekend. At least nine venues and areas are set to be utilised across November 4th and 5th, including Rotterdam Central Square, Transport and Perron, a venue that closed in 2015 but is temporarily reopening for the festival. REC's lineup includes heavyweights from the hip-hop, indie rock and electronic music worlds. In terms of electronic music, there'll be sets from Henrik Schwarz, Marcus Worgull, Randomer and Palms Trax, while more leftfield names include Awesome Tapes From Africa, Sassy J, Mount Kimbie and Omar Souleyman. Perron will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday's lineup will stay secret, while on Saturday there's a Clone showcase with Serge, Zadig and Objekt. A reggae party is planned for Saturday night. See the full lineup over on REC's event page.
