  • Acronym will head stateside for a few dates starting on November 5th. The Stockholm-based producer has built up a following over the past few years for his unconventional take on deep techno. RA's Matt Unicomb called him the "most versatile producer on [Abdulla Rashim's] Northern Electronics," in a review of Acronym's latest record for that label, the Guadalquivir EP. The fall tour follows the September release of Acronym's Entagled In Vines LP for Semantica Records. He's playing live shows on the upcoming tour, which starts out in New York on November 5th at The Gateway. At that one, he'll peform with modular techno artist Antenes, No-Tech co-founder Ciarra Black and 1080p affiliate Simon Chioini. On Friday the 11th, Acronym is up in Montreal for an underground party called Modern Colony, where he'll appear alongside longtime Hospital Productions affiliate Lussuria. Acronym will wrap things up on Saturday the 12th in LA at an affair organized by VSSL and Incognito. Los Angeles-via-Kalamazoo producer Fanon Flowers is on that one as well. Listen to a recent Acronym podcast.
