- The record fair and free party will happen this weekend at Lot 613.
- The next edition of Crate Diggers goes down this Saturday at Lot 613. The vinyl-focused event, which is put on by Discogs, has found success with a simple formula—a record fair in the day and a free party at night. They've managed to lock down some big names for all-vinyl sets. A recent Crate Diggers night in Berlin saw Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittman, Jamie 3:26 and Zernell playing back-to-back for well over eight hours. (Check out the event review from that one here.) This Saturday, after a daytime record fair lineup that includes Daniel T, Stacy Christine and Force Placement, the record tables will be moved out of the downtown club and Harmonie Park boss Rick Wade will spin his first LA set in over a decade. DFA mainstay Juan Maclean and Zernell are also on the bill. Maclean pulled together a vinyl mix in honor of the occasion.
