- The Manchester producer is back with his second LP next month.
Illum Sphere's new LP, Glass, is due out on Ninja Tune in November.
It's a follow-up to Ghosts Of Then And Now, Ryan Hunn's debut album for Ninja Tune from 2014. The Manchester DJ and producer, who co-founded the city's broad-minded Hoya:Hoya residency, also mixed Fabriclive 78 later that year.
"I wanted to make an album very different to the first," Hunn says of Glass, "one with a different palette, pace and energy." It sees him diving deeper into the retro-leaning synth sound he established with his last couple of Ninja Tune 12-inches. The label calls it "his most crystal-clear statement to date."
Listen to Glass cut "Thousand Yard Stare."
