A string of four dates in November are confirmed for the Dutch DJ.
Frits Wentink has scheduled a four-night run across the US, his first tour of the country, for next month.
The Dutch DJ and producer, real name Steve Mensink, has put out around 20 records since his vinyl debut in 2012. He's known for an idiosyncratic style of house, making deep, offbeat tracks as Frits Wentink and a couple other aliases (like Felix Lenferink), while running the Bobby Donny and Will & Ink labels.
He'll first hit Union's Noise Room in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 3rd, where Berlin trio FJAAK, playing live, top the lineup. Next is F8 in San Francisco for a new party called Heavy Hands—J. Albert and Tyrel Williams will also play that one. That Saturday, Mensink will be in Detroit to headline My Baby at TV Lounge, before finishing his jaunt in Brooklyn with a free Sunday-night party at Bossa Nova Civic Club, also featuring two members of Pittsburgh's Detour label crew, ONDO and Naeem.
Listen to a Frits Wentink set for Boiler Room from last month, which earned RA's nod for mix of the day.
Tickets to the San Francisco event are available here on RA.
