John Swing is releasing an album.
The Italian producer is the co-founder—with EMG—of LiveJam Records and its numerous sub-labels, such as Relative, Warm Sounds and Experiential Learning. The productions released on those labels are known for a distinctly raw aesthetic and a dedication to live recording, two traits that John Swing continues on his forthcoming ten-track LP, Assorted Moods. According to a press release, the album signals a change of direction from the house and techno template of John Swing's previous productions, incorporating elements of funk, hip-hop, jazz and dub.
