  • Resonance Series, an experimental music series in Chicago, has posted details for its next three shows. Taking place on the second Wednesday of each month at The Hideout, the longtime venue located in an industrial area between Lincoln Park and Wicker Park, Resonance has been host to a range of talent including Steve Hauschildt, Container, Stave, Cleared and Brett Naucke. October's event, on the 12th, will feature sets from Nate Young, the founder of the influential noise group Wolf Eyes, along with former bandmate Aaron Dilloway. On the local side of the lineup are abstract industrial outfit HOGG, who recently put out an EP on Chicago's Scrapes Recordings, and Nihilist label head Andy Ortmann. Looking ahead, the November 9th edition of Resonance will feature Raglani, who's released on Kranky and Editions Mego, and December's show, on the 14th, has electro-acoustic artist and composer Olivia Block confirmed. More artists will be added to those November and December lineups closer to each date. Get ready for the October edition with the title cut from HOGG's Solar Phallic Lion EP for Scrapes.
