  • Comunité has announced the first names for its 2017 edition, which goes down in Tulum, Mexico, on January 6th and 7th. The beachside festival—now entering in its second year—takes place in Parque Dos Ojos, a natural reserve that contains a system of underwater caves. Next year's lineup is topped by Detroit's Omar S, who will be unveiling a new live set, as well as Ambiq, the electro-acoustic trio that includes Berlin synth wiz Max Loderbauer. Joining them from across the pond are Lawrence, Thomas Melchior, Sonja Moonear, ItaloJohnson, Vera and Margaret Dygas, plus US artists Kyle Hall, Avalon Emerson and Fred P as well as Montreal's Project Pablo. Peruvian duo Dengue Dengue Dengue (whom RA profiled last month) are also on the bill alongside Mexican house heads Soul Of Hex and Leo Leal. The festival, which is fully vegan and committed to ecological sustainability, will take place across two stages, with various options for both camping and hotel rooms.
