Deep Medi Musik will celebrate its tenth birthday and 100th release with a party at London's Electric Brixton on Saturday, October 1st.
Mala started the dubstep label in 2006, launching with Kromestar's Kalawanji / Surgery EP. In the decade since, it's given a leg-up to the careers of artists like Quest, Silkie, Goth-Trad, Hijak, Benny Ill, Commodo, Jack Sparrow, Jay 5ive and Kahn—all of whom will play the birthday event. There are also slots for Mala, Killa P, Spooky, Neek and grime hotshot Sir Spyro, with Crazy D, Rider Shafique and Sun Of Selah the night's hosts. Neuron Pro Audio will provide the Void Soundsystem. Doors open at 9 PM.
