  • The details for the first Kiekebusch International Festival in Berlin have been announced. Going down across September 17th and 18th, Kiekebusch International will play host to names from the house, techno and bass music realm. A cast of respected Berlin-based selectors includes Marc Schneider, Dorian Paic and Federico Molinari, who share the bill with experimentally-inclined acts such as 2562 / A Made Up Sound, Perera Elsewhere, Phon.o and Minor Science. The festival is happening at Kiekebusch, an area in the vicinity of Schönefeld Airport used for events like Wax Treatment, Krake and Feel. Some of the festival's proceeds will go towards funding an operation for a child burns victim in Maputo, Mozambique. The donation is being overseen by SOS Children's Villages International and One Of Us, a collective which aims to link electronic music with social causes. (Read more about them here.)
