- The Austin duo will play music from the Netflix series at the Kraków festival in October.
Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of S U R V I V E will perform their soundtrack to the popular TV show Stranger Things at this year's Unsound festival in Kraków, Poland.
The duo's spooky OST has been a large part of the appeal of the Netflix series, which has become one of the most talked-about shows of 2016. Their performance at Unsound will be the world premiere of the score, which is getting released in two parts on vinyl.
Unsound has added some other names to its 2016 bill, including premieres of new live show from festival regulars Demdike Stare plus a collaboration between PAN's Bill Kouligas and Amnesia Scanner. PC Music affiliate Felicita will perform with Stanislaw Hadyna's "Slask" Song And Dance Ensemble, a band that partly inspired the David Bowie song "Warszawa." Other new acts include Phuture, Errorsmith, Anthony 'Shake' Shakir and Aïsha Devi, while a boat party with the Discwoman crew—Umfang, Volvox and Haram—has also been confirmed.
This year's edition of Unsound will run from October 16th through 23rd, with Severed Heads, Veronica Vasicka, Foodman, Traxman, Babyfather, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Raime also set to perform.
