  • London promoter REVIVEHER is set to open a new label. Over the last six years, REVIVEHER has put on house and disco parties across London, including residencies at Dalston Superstore and The Yard in Hackney Wick. Since then they've moved between venues, and spread out into Europe as well as taking several trips to Japan. The group are inspired by the freewheeling DIY spirit of disco and early acid house, hoping to restore the London's club scene's perceived lack of fun and femininity. Both traits are present in their first EP, Interstellar Love from newcomer Sultan Shakes. Shakes offers a modern slant on a romantic disco sound, with two original cuts backed with remixes by Young Marco, Rub N Tug. Matthew Herbert collaborator Crewdson contributes a digital-only rework. The collective will celebrate the EP's launch with a free 16-hour party at an open air venue in east London. The lineup for that event includes Sultan Shakes live with Mystery Jets, Young Marco, Rub N Tug, Eric Duncan and REVIVEHER residents Nick Hadfield and Bi-Bop. Check out the video teaser for the event on Facebook. Tracklist A1 Interstellar Love (REVIVEHER Outta Space Mix) A2 Interstellar Love (Young Marco's Trybal Dubb) B1 OK B2 OK (Rub N Tug's Acid Bath Time Jammy) REVIVEHER will release Interstellar Love on September 16th, 2016.
