Smallpeople and Moomin's Secret Elevator will get a release via Closer in September.
Moomin, AKA Berlin-based producer Sebastian Genz, and Smallpeople, the duo of Julius Steinhoff and Just von Ahlefeld, have been working together on some level for years. Steinhoff and von Ahlefeld's Smallville imprint releases a fair share of Moomin's records, including 2015's A Minor Thought album. Last year also saw them team up for a DJ mix to celebrate ten years of Smallville. Despite these close associations, as well as a mutual penchant for warm deep house sounds, Secret Elevator is the first studio collaboration we've heard from the trio.
