Jovonn will kick off a new imprint called Body 'N Deep this October.
The East Coast producer born Allen Armstrong is three decades into his career, and the deep house tunes he made in the early and mid-'90s have experienced a recent revival thanks to the Clone Classic Cuts and Apollonia, among others. Clone looked back to Armstrong's '90s label with its 2014 Goldtones set, and now Jovonn's preparing to launch a new outlet called Body 'N Deep, which was also the name of his 2013 EP for Dogmatik. The Peak Hour 12-inch includes an alternate version of his 1991 cut, "I Can't Make Up My Mind."
