- The alpine festival takes place in December.

Polaris Festival has confirmed headliners for its 2016 edition.
The three-day festival takes place from December 9th through 11th at Le Mouton Noir, a station in the Swiss Alps perched 2,200 metres above sea level near Verbier. After debuting last year with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Mike Banks, Seth Troxler and Carl Craig, Polaris is returning with Moodymann, Richie Hawtin, Dixon and Luciano, who's described as "the festival's godfather." A host of Swiss locals are also confirmed, with Andrea Oliva, Ripperton and Mirko Loko set to appear. More names will be announced later in the summer.
