  • Medical Records will release Bernard Fevre's Orbit Ceremony 77 on September 4th. Fevre is most well-known as Black Devil Disco Club, the name under which he released 1978's Disco Club LP and the follow-up, 28 After, both of which have seen various reissues over the past 15 years. Though details on Fevre were initially scant, music from his '70s purple patch continues to emerge. In the process of remastering last year's round of Black Devil reissues, Fevre found the master tapes, including the multi-tracks, for a never-issued album called Orbit Ceremony. It was recorded in 1977 around the time he released three library albums, Suspense, Cosmos 2043 and The Strange World of Bernard Fevre. After finding Orbit Ceremony, he remixed the 11 tracks and prepared it for the light of day. Medical says the science fiction-themed record contains Fevre's trademark "spacy moogs, weird clavinet, and cosmic analog drum machines." Tracklist 01. That Is To Be 02. Foxy Spleen 03. Max Stroke 04. Mestophiles 05. Nebulous Melody 06. Not Be Wary 07. Out Of Dark 08. Paste Merge 09. Raw Beat 10. Space Angle 11. Testmaker Medical Records will release Orbit Ceremony 77 on September 4th, 2016.
